MGOcleans services

Upholstery fabrics can dictate preferred cleaning methods for each fabric type. Factors to take into consideration with upholstery cleaning can seem countless! Factors such as varying degrees of soiling, type of stains, fabric or upholstery affected by odors from pets, skunks, smoke or even beverage/food spills coupled with fabric designs, colors, floral, modern custom designs, tendency for shrinkage, durability and cleaning factors – – are just a few things we must consider before each upholstery cleaning service!

We currently clean only synthetic materials. Depending on the fabric, our professionally trained technician will determine the correct cleaning process and solution for that specific material.

Our Upholstery Cleaning Process for Residents

1.      A pre-inspection is conducted to identify problem areas with the customer.

2.      Vacuuming entire item, especially if pets (i.e dogs and cat) live there.

3.      CRI approved green solution is sprayed deep into the upholstery fabric to loosen any grime. Any particularly soiled areas are given extra special attention.

4.      We use a high-powered extraction and specially formulated pH-neutralizing rinse to remove dirt, stains, and the cleaning solutions used in step 3.

5.      We inspect the upholstery with the customer to ensure the cleaning was completed to their satisfaction.

Fabric Protector & Deodorizer for Upholstery

To prevent spills, oil, and stains from becoming entrenched into the upholstery, we can apply a fabric protector, thereby extending the life of your furniture.

We can also apply a fabric deodorizer and disinfectant to control unwanted odors and leave a fresh clean scent on the material.

IICRC recommends that you should have your furniture cleaned when you start to notice light soiling or staining on the fabric, however regular upholstery cleaning is essential to prolong the life of the fabric.
